Teddy Bear Suite

For those who missed it during the hundreds of other events during Christmas in Edgartown, or for those who missed the weekend altogether, there is still time to check out the Teddy Bear Suite at the Harbor View Hotel. The teddy bears have postponed hibernation and are waiting with open, furry, arms to hand out some holiday hugs.

They come in all sizes, even 6 feet tall (Bear, Edgar Bear, if you please).

The bears are not content to sit around just looking cuddly, either. They are helping to raise money for the Martha’s Vineyard Boys’ and Girls’ Club. Last weekend they met their goal of $2500 but are hungry to raise more funds for the program’s educational component, “the power hour.”

The Teddy Bear Suite is open today, Dec. 16, and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
