Netherfield Farm in Chilmark is accepting students for its Junior Equestrian Camp, which runs Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for beginner through advanced. The camp cost is $575 per week, limited to eight students per week with two instructors.

Netherfield Farm offers an exclusive riding experience in a serene and intimate setting, with mounts ranging from beginner ponies to hunter and dressage show horses. The program is committed to the long-term education of its students in all aspects of riding, training and the care of horses. Horses offer a unique insight into physical coordination and mental focus, which become important life skills. The program aims to inspire each child to hone and develop their skills of trust, perseverance and communication.

Riders may bring their own horse or pony as well. Showing is optional for an additional fee. An ASTM-SEI approved riding helmet fitted to your child and paddock boots or hard-soled shoes with heels are recommended.
