Farmtastic Festival

Dive for donuts, bob for apples and compete in a tug-of-war contest with a rope big enough to encircle the Island. Okay, maybe the rope is a wee bit shorter, but what’s a farmfest at RunAmok Farm without a tall tale or two?

What’s guaranteed is a day of fun with music by Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish and a main course lunch that includes roasted meats donated by the Athearn family. Plan to bring a potluck dish to share, along with your own beverages.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for children and families of four or more (two adults and two children) are $50. Proceeds benefit the Garden Gate Child Development Center’s art for education programming.

There will also be raffle baskets at the event with the chance to win hundreds of dollars of farm fresh goodies from the Vineyard.
