John J. Casey, Jr., 86, of Vineyard Haven died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at his home on Carroll’s Way surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Margery Gerathy Casey who passed away in June of 2005.

He is survived by his children: Janice Casey of Edgartown, John Casey and Nancy Barlosky both of Vineyard Haven, Patty Horvath of West Haven, Conn., Margie Pires of West Tisbury and Jerry Casey of Shelton, Conn.

His funeral service will be held in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road, Oak Bluffs on Friday, June 12 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Vineyard Haven. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, June 11, from 5 to 8 p.m.
