Joan C. Barbour of Oak Bluffs died on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Windemere Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. Services for Joan will be held in Huntington, N.Y. Donations in her memory may be made to Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard, PO Box 2549, Oak Bluffs, MA 02557. A complete obituary will follow in a later edition of the Gazette. Dear Sue, Gloria told me of your Mom's passing. I know how hard this must be for you, but I also know that you must feel a sigh of relief. Your Mom was such a kind and caring person. She was a good mother and a good friend. Puddy and I were especially fond of her. I send you my prayers and I send you my love. She is now at peace. Pam
