William (Billy) J. Berg 3rd of Burlington, Conn., died suddenly Friday, Nov. 14 at home.

He was born August 2, 1947 in Hartford, Conn., the son of the late William J. Berg, Jr. and Mary O’Hazo. In 1965 he went to Vaughn Barber School in Hartford, Conn. After graduating he pursued a career in barbering, obtaining a master barber license.

His constant companion in his pickup truck was his golden retriever Lucy. His hobbies included target shooting, puttering around the house and walks with his golden. He was also a huge fan of NHRA drag racing.
