Hope Flanders Bailiff’s life will be celebrated at Chilmark Community Church on Saturday, April 20, from 10 a.m. to noon. Hope was raised up-Island and died this January. She was 94. Please see if the elders in your life remember her. All are welcome to join in. Plans include participatory music and singing, sandwiches and desserts. At 2:30 p.m. family members, Hope’s caregivers and friends will go out on the Minuteman from Vineyard Haven to scatter her ashes.
