Mary Francis Nickerson, formerly of Edgartown and Chatham, died Monday, June 3. She was 65. She was the mother of David Morrice and was married to Don Nickerson, who predeceased her. In addition to her husband, Mary was predeceased by her sister Barbara Silva, Barbara’s husband, Gilbert, and sister Jean’s husband, Al.

Mary worked for the Cape and Vineyard Electric Cooperative for many years and was an avid baker and cook. She spent winters in Bonita Springs, Fla., and was loved by all.

She is survived by her son David and his wife Lana, and their three children. She is also survived by her brother Everett (Porky) Francis and his wife Carol; her brother Alfred Francis and his wife Mardell, and her sister, Jean Laramie.
