The Road from Charity to Justice is the topic of the sermon offered by guest preacher the Rev. Cannon Edward Rodman on August 25 and Sept. 1 at the 9 a.m. service at Trinity Episcopal Church.

Mr. Rodman is the John Seeley Stone Professor of Pastoral Theology and Urban Ministry at Cambridge. He is a well-known advocate for reform of the U.S. legal system, along with housing and education reform. Mr. Rodman helped organize the Union of Black Episcopalians, served as a member of the executive council of the Episcopal Church and coordinated the Episcopal Urban Caucus.
