Marguerite Bassett Cottle died on Monday, Oct. 7, 2013 at her home in Menemsha. She was 94.

She was predeceased by her husband, Eric W. Cottle, in 2010 and is survived by her children, Wesley Cottle and Martha Cottle, both of Chilmark. Her graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. in the Abel’s Hill Cemetery, on South Road in Chilmark, officiated by the Rev. Arlene Bodge.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 1829, Edgartown, MA 02539. Arrangements are under the care of the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs.
