Gerald A. Lamb, longtime resident, property owner and developer of Martha’s Vineyard, died after a brief illness on Monday, March 24, while at Chesapeake General Hospital.
Mr. Lamb had lived in Chesapeake, Va., for several years following his retirement from the banking industry in New England, and reached the pinnacle of his career as the first black banking commissioner of the state of Connecticut.
