Political comedian Scott Blakeman brings his solo show, Scott Blakeman: A Standup Who Doesn’t Dumb Down, to the Grange Hall on Saturday, August 30, at 8 p.m.

An original member of New York’s Laughing Liberally, Mr. Blakeman has performed around the world, and is a regular each year on the Island. He is a contributor to the Huffington Post and has been featured on MSNBC and CNN. Mr. Blakeman tours with Palestinian-American comedian Dean Obeidallah in Standup for Peace: If We Can Laugh Together, We Can Live Together, and has been a warm-up act for the Late Show with David Letterman and Bill Maher’s Politically Incorrect.
