Carolyn F. Ryan of Edgartown and Reading died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 13. She was 86.

Mrs. Ryan was the wife of the late James (Jim) Ryan and mother to the late James F. Ryan and the late Patrick E. Ryan, and Paul M. Ryan of Shirley Mass., John F. (Jack) Ryan of Tewksbury, Kevin D. Ryan of Edgartown, and Brian D. Ryan of Wakefield.

At her request, a private graveside service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 16, at the Tewksbury Cemetery.
