More than two weeks after concluding business at annual town meeting, Oak Bluffs will hold a special town meeting Thursday night.

There is only one item of business on the agenda: a vote on whether the town will approve paying a portion of the costs of a new administrative building for Martha’s Vineyard public schools.

West Tisbury, Chilmark and Tisbury voters turned down the proposal at town elections.

The special meeting town meeting convenes at 7 p.m. at the Oak Bluffs school.
