Vineyard filmmakers and activists Len and Georgia Morris of Media Voices for Children will host a premiere of their new film The Same Heart at the Howard Theatre in Washington D.C. on March 31. The film tells the story about the ongoing efforts to end chronic poverty in one of the poorest places on earth, western Kenya. The film was shot in 11 countries and is narrated by journalist and activist Charlayne Hunter-Gault. The global cast includes seven Nobel Peace Laureates, and it advocates for a financial transactions tax, in whih one-tenth of one per cent on all financial transactions would go to raising money to ending child poverty.
