Island Housing Trust founding director Philippe Jordi has graduated from the NeighborWorks Achieving Excellence Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
He attended the program with support from the Martha’s Vineyard Vision Fellowship, which provides funding for Martha’s Vineyard residents to embark on initiatives and schooling related to sustainability.
Mr. Jordi was one of 49 community development leaders from around the country to graduate from the 18-month executive leadership program, which is designed to help create transformational change within communities and organizations.
The program helped Mr. Jordi build the Island Housing Trust’s leadership capacity and increase housing production, according to a press release.
“Philippe’s successful completion of the Achieving Excellence program is a testament to his leadership and long-term commitment to creating housing solutions for our Island” Richard Leonard, president of the board for the Island Housing Trust, said in a press release.
