If you’re looking for a guy who’s tall, dark, handsome, and a real gentleman to boot, then head on down to the shelter to meet Buddy the five-year-old Rottweiler. Buddy was rescued from a situation of neglect yet he could not be a sweeter, gentler fellow. His coat is not quite up to par but should return to its shining glory with a little TLC. If you’ve been looking for a Rottie you couldn’t go wrong with this boy.
Speaking of tall, dark, and handsome, one-year-old tuxedo cat Mary is petite, dark and leggy. She has lovely golden eyes shining from her pretty face. And if she takes a liking to you she’s yours forever. Come by and meet this girl.
Two very affectionate female cats are also residing at the shelter. Sweetie is a two-year-old dilute calico. She’s mostly gray with some pale orange markings on her face and chest that match her golden eyes. A little on the shy side, she enjoys petting and purrs and purrs. Once she finds her forever home she may turn into a lap cat or snuggler. Tiger Lily is the other female in the cat room. She is tabby and white and very affectionate. She also loves to give kisses. This is one kitty that wants to be with you always. Stop in and see if either of these sweethearts could be the love you’ve been missing.
If you prefer male cats there are two great boys residing here. Lefty is a large buff and white four to five year old who is an indoor/outdoor cat. He’s such a great guy that he’s allowed to wander about the shelter. Lefty also doesn’t mind coexisting with Chaps, an 11-year-old with distinctive white and black markings. Chaps is happy to have a warm bed, a window to look out and some playtime outside. He isn’t a demanding fellow so would make a nice addition to any home.
Last, but certainly not least, is Hamlette, the friendliest guinea pig to ever stay here. He’s under a year old, brown and white, and loves to be held and pet. He’s also a big fan of carrots and lettuce. If you have a child begging for a guinea pig you couldn’t do better than Hamlette.
