Regional high school sophomore Ben McMahon is one of 17 students nation-wide to earn a Gold Key in the video game category in the annual Scholastic Art Awards.

Seven other Island students won Gold Key awards in other categories, including photography and writing. The other awards were announced in late January. National medalists will be announced March 14.

Regional high school winners and nominees are on display at the high school library conference room for the month of March.
