The Massachusetts Department of Transportation announced that seven construction projects received recognition in the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts 2017 Engineering Excellence Awards competition and were honored at an awards gala in Cambridge.

The Lagoon Pond Drawbridge Replacement Project in Oak Bluffs and Tisbury received a bronze award. The $43.7 project replaced the drawbridge constructed in 1935.
