Chief is still looking for a forever home. He’s a very large, four-year year old Saint Bernard/Australian Shepherd mix. He needs someone experienced with powerful, prey driven dogs, but cannot go to a home with farm and/or other small animals. Is someone out there willing to give Chief a chance, he’s a very sweet dog? Please contact the shelter if you would like to meet him, he is still residing with his current owner.
Is anyone in Tisbury missing a young, female, tuxedo cat? Noelle, as we’re calling her, was brought to the shelter as a stray. She’s a good size girl with double front paws and golden eyes. So far she seems to be very friendly and affectionate. Please contact the shelter if you think she could be your missing pet. She would much rather spend the holidays with her family than here.
Is there an angel out there for Pete? He is a distinguished, elder statesman of 15 years who’s coloring is orange. If you’re looking for sweet and low key this could be your cat. Pete likes to spend his time snuggling and purring, what more could you want? He will, however, need some medical attention before he will be ready for a new home.
And with Christmas this Monday be aware that poinsettias and mistletoe are poisonous if consumed by your pet, as is chocolate. Should this occur contact your veterinarian immediately.
