Walter Morrison Dies at 66

Walter Morrison of Edgartown died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at home at the age of 66.

A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 3 at 2 p.m. at the Portuguese American Club in Oak Bluffs.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Martha’s Vineyard Striped Bass and Bluefish derby scholarship program.

A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the Gazette.

The obituary only appeared in the Ellsworth American a few days ago. With more advanced notice, I would have attended the memorial service. Having not seen Walter on over four decades, I hope that he had the rich and full life that he deserved.
