The Portuguese Holy Ghost Feast and Festival begins on Saturday night, July 21, with lots of feasting and dancing to the music of Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish. The party starts at 5 p.m. at the Portuguese-American Club, located at 137 Vineyard avenue in Oak Bluffs.
On Sunday the festivities continue with a parade beginning at 11 a.m. that travels from the Oak Bluffs steamship terminal up to the P.A. Club. The parade will feature traditional Portuguese dancers and the blessing of Queen Isabel’s crown.
