Each winter the Island churches come together to offer free meals to help Islanders break bread together through the dark nights of winter. Each day is covered so no one has to go hungry or eat alone. All meals are donated and organized by volunteers, creating spirit of camaraderie that is perfect for shaking off any winter blues. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday: St. Augustine’s Church, 56 Franklin street, Vineyard Haven, 5 p.m. 508-693-0131. (Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center organizes supper every third Thursday at St. Augustine’s Church).
