Warren A. Hamilton Was Island Summer Resident

Warren A. Hamilton died Oct. 8 in Columbia, S.C. He was born Sept. 21, 1917, in Malden, the son of the late Ferdinand and Nora Hamilton.

Mr. Hamilton and his wife, Helen, honeymooned on the Island 54 years ago, and have for many years been summer residents of Oak Bluffs.

Mr. Hamilton retired from the Christian Science Publishing Society in Boston. He was a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist in Columbia and also regularly attended the Gill Creek Baptist Church.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife and many loving relatives and caring friends.

A memorial service was held Oct. 11 at Gill Creek Baptist Church in Columbia.
