Lynne S. Aubin, 52, Was Warm and Joyful Person

Lynne Spector Aubin of Vineyard Haven died peacefully on Nov. 11 at her home in Lambert's Cove. She was born on May 24, 1951 in New York and moved to the Vineyard in the mid-1970s.

Lynne's greatest blessing in her life was her daughter, Brooke. For 15 years her greatest joy was being Brooke's mother. They were truly each other's best friends.

Lynne will be remembered for her contagious laughter, sense of humor, her love for life and her eagerness to try new things.

She knew that the true meaning of life was to live it and she never allowed her small stature or physical restrictions to limit the choices that she made.

Over the years Lynne opened her home and her heart to many different people from all walks of life; even if you began as a customer, you ended as a friend. All who were lucky enough to have been touched by her will miss her.

She is survived by her daughter, Brooke, of Vineyard Haven; her parents, Julius and Audrey Spector of Livingston, N.J., and her brother, Stuart Spector of Edgartown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the local MSPCA.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 16 at the Martha's Vineyard Hebrew Center in Vineyard Haven.
