Elaine P. Patt, 70, Loved Having Time with Family

Elaine P. (Bergquist) Patt of Edgartown, formerly of Hanover, beloved wife of Neil with whom she shared over 50 years of marriage, died peacefully at her home on the Vineyard. She was 70 years old.

She was the proud mother of Stephen Patt, Ronald Patt, Joanne Koelsch and Donna Henderson; loving sister of Brenda Pickett and her husband, John; stepsister of Eleanor McKim and Louise Smith; cherished grandmother to Stephanie, Emily-Anne, Jacquelyn, Amanda, Alexandra, Gregory, Rachael, Blake, Jack and Brooke; and daughter of the late Hazel Krupa and Thure Bergquist.

She loved spending time with her family, entertaining friends, following the Red Sox, sitting by her backyard feeders and fish pond and tending her gardens and flowers. She will be fondly remembered by all who loved her and those whom she loved. A graveside service was held at Fern Hill Cemetery on High street in Hanson on Thursday, May 12 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen street, Framingham, MA 01701-4688. Arrangements were made by the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth street, Whitman.
