Robert Frasier, 80, Was Grocery Store Manager

Robert S. Frasier of Edgartown died Monday at Parkview Speciality Hospital in Springfield. He was 80 years old.

Born in Brockton on March 30, 1925, he attended Oliver Ames High School in South Easton and was graduated from Edgartown High School. He was a retired grocery store manager and had worked at several Island stores. He was a member of the Federated Church in Edgartown.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah A. (Leighton) Frasier; his daughter and son in law, Sarah and Gary Fritz of Enfield, Conn., and his granddaughter, Lori A. Fritz of Arlington, Va. Mr. Frasier was predeceased by a sister, Jean Walker of Falmouth.

A private graveside service will be held on the Island. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are under the care of Dickinson-Streeter Funeral Service of Springfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Martha's Vineyard Arena or the Edgartown Federated Church children's fund.
