Theresa Holmstrom, 73, Was Vineyard Native

Theresa Holmstrom of Woonsocket, R.I., died Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Landmark Hospital in Woonsocket. She was 73.

Her husbands, Jack Campbell, Raymond DeCamp and Frederick Holmstrom, all predeceased her.

She was an Island native, born in Vineyard Haven on Jan. 14, 1933, the daughter of Manuel N. King and Mary E. (DeCosta) King. She was graduated from the Tisbury High School and left the Island soon after.

She held various jobs while raising and supporting her family.

She is survived by her six children, Sheri Weisberg of California, Bruce Dean Campbell of Delaware, Keri Ramella of Rhode Island, Kimberly Campbell-Movitz of Massachusetts, Scott Campbell of Massachusetts and Brett DeCamp of Rhode Island, with whom she lived. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two sisters, Hazel King of Vineyard Haven and Madeline Coburn of Berryville, Ariz. She was predeceased by four sisters, Elizabeth (Betty) Furtado, Hilda Duarte, Katherine Barry and Patricia Mills-Fulsom, her brother, Donald King, and two half-brothers, Billy King and Manell King.

Her funeral service was held yesterday in the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs. The Rev. Michael Nagle officiated.
