David Ganong Practiced Dentistry, Was Veteran

Dr. David Ganong of Vineyard Haven died suddenly on Thursday, April 20.

David was a Vietnam War veteran, also serving on the Presidential Guard Silent Drill Team. He practiced holistic dentistry in the Hanover area and Martha's Vineyard for 30 years.

He will be greatly missed by his wife, Jennifer, daughters Angelique, Alyssa, Jessica and Amanda, son David and stepsons Robert and Jake. He is also survived by one brother, Harvey, three sisters, Sally, Peggy and Jeannie, and four grandchildren, Nathan, Zach, Lorin, and Jonathan.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 1 p.m. at the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home in Oak Bluffs. The Rev. Gail Hicks will officiate.
