Phyllis Day Calio

Phyllis Day Calio of West Tisbury died on Sunday, July 30, surrounded by her family. She was 87.

Before moving to the Vineyard earlier this year to live with her daughter, Mrs. Calio had been a longtime resident of West Hartford, Conn.

She is survived by her daughter, Lorraine Calio of West Tisbury; her son, James V. Calio Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., and his wife, Lisa Calio; her granddaughter, Jennifer Tolley, and her husband, James Tolley; and her great-grandson, Harrison Tolley. She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. James V. Calio.
