Leonard M. Greene

Leonard M. Greene, a former longtime resident of Edgartown, died on Nov. 30 of cancer at the age of 88. Mr. Greene was inducted into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 1991 for his development of an airplane stall warning and wind shear warning device, which he patented in 1949. He was the former owner of Edgartown Marine and cofounder of the Corporate Angel Network. A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the Gazette.
