Ruth M. Meader Merrill of the Camp Ground in Oak Bluffs died Friday at her home.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald G. Merrill.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in her memory to Hospice of Martha's Vineyard, P.O. Box 2549 or to the Oak Bluffs Senior Center, P.O. Box 1379, both in Oak Bluffs, MA 02557. Arrangements are under the care of the Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, Oak Bluffs. A full obituary will appear in a future edition of the Gazette.
