Margaret P. Crane, 89, of Lake Monticello, Va., died April 20.

She was born Jan. 12, 1918 in Montgomery County, Pa., the daughter of George M. and Eva O. Phillips.

Margaret enjoyed life. Her many interests included collecting antiques. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Palmyra, Va. She had a long career as a secretary in the medical and law fields.

In answer to her prayers, her grandson Matthew safely returned from Iraq to visit just before her death.

Survivors include four daughters, Frances A. Bradley of West Tisbury, Margaret (Mitzi) Crane of Palmyra, Va., Janet R. Belain of West Tisbury and Patricia J. Ray of Tucson, Ariz.; her brother, William Phillips; and 10 grandchildren, Gabriel, Matthew, Marah and Lukas Bradley, Jonathan, Harold and Nathan Belain, Julie and Zeb Devine, and Andrea Eckhoff.

Her husband, Paul Edward Crane, and two grandchildren predeceased her.

A funeral Mass was celebrated April 25 at Saints Peter and Paul Church. Interment was in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Norristown, Pa.
