Norman A. Flodstrom of Naples, Fla., formerly of Walpole and Oak Bluffs, died Sept. 15 at Hospice of Naples.

He was the son of the late Elmer and Gladys Trapp Flodstrom.

Norman grew up in Medford, was graduated from Medford High School, and attended classes at Boston University until being called in as a reservist during the Korean War.

He was a printing pressman by trade, working at Plimpton Press in Norwood and N.E. Book Components in Hingham. After retiring, he worked as a tour bus driver with Island Tours in Oak Bluffs for 11 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to travel. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He also was an active member of the Masons, Scottish Rite and Shriners.

He was the husband of Evelyn Treen Flodstrom; father of Leanne Toth of Walpole, Steven Flodstrom of Milford, Karin Giguere of Walpole and Trisha Rusco of Dedham; brother of Robert and Kenneth Flodstrom; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of three; and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6 at the United Church of Christ, 30 Common street, Walpole.

Interment will be at Otis National Cemetery.
