Phyllis Gray Webb, 54, died Dec. 8, 2006.

A native of Fort Valley, Ga., she was born April 21, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents Dr. and Mrs. Willis L. Webb.

Phyllis, better known as Gray to her friends, was a 1970 graduate of Fort Valley High School and attended the University of Kentucky. After college, she lived in Lexington, Ky., until moving to the Vineyard six years ago.

Survivors include her daughter, Lollie D. Nabors of Atlanta, Ga.; her brother, Gregory B. Webb of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters Nancy W. Potter of Lexington, Ky., Laura W. Byrd of Macon, Ga., and Regina (Beanie) W. McDonald of Macon, Ga.; and two nieces, Shana W. Passas of Palm Beach, Fla., and Ashton G. Potter of Atlanta, Ga.

A celebration of her life was held on the Vineyard in July 2007.
