Frank H. Swartz, 71, of Baldwinville, formerly of Oak Bluffs, died Nov. 18 in the Hillcrest Nursing Home, Fitchburg, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Oak Bluffs, the son of Frank Swartz and Eleanor Spencer Swartz Jones and had lived in Baldwinville since 1959 after his discharge from the Army.

He leaves his wife of 40 years, Nancy M. Case Swartz, three children, Kevin C. Swartz, Janice E. Swartz Hamel and her husband Michael, and Brian H. Swartz and his wife Crystal, all of Baldwinville; four brothers, Ralph Swartz and his wife Mary of Williamsburg, Va., Robert Swartz and his wife Jean of Rutland, James Swartz and his wife Patricia of Fairhaven and Emory Swartz and his wife Sherry of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters Cynthia Baker and her husband Charles of Orange and Audrey Dugan and her husband Felix of Lakeland; four grandchildren, Allison Hamel, Erik Hamel, Tyler Swartz and Lilyana Swartz.

Funeral services were held in Winchendon and interment in Greenlawn Cemetery in Baldwinville.
