Rose M. Simonds died on Tuesday, Dec. 4 at the Henrietta Brewer House in Vineyard Haven. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady Star of Sea Church in Oak Bluffs. Donations in her memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1115 W. Chestnut street, Suite 301, Brockton, MA 02401 or to a local public library. A full obituary will appear in a future Gazette.
