Doris V. Sandrock of West Bridgewater died Feb. 5. She was 91.
She was the wife of the late Howard T. Sandrock. Born July 2, 1916, she was the daughter of William and Florence Cresswell Wardle.
Doris was a long-time resident of West Bridgewater. Her career was spent working for the city of Brockton and most recently as a paralegal for the city solicitor. She was a member of the Eastern Star, a board member of the Visiting Nursing Association, a board member of the Old Colony Elderly Services, a member of the senior legislators and a member of the board of directors for the Council on Aging.
She enjoyed handcrafts, gardening, music and playing the piano.
Survivors include her daughter, Annette Irene Sandrock of Vineyard Haven; three grandchildren, Howard Sandrock of Colorado, Corey Alexander Tara Clark of Absecon, N.J., and Isis Tara of Brockton; and a great-granddaughter, Corinne Grace Clark.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be given to the Visiting Nurse Association, 500 Belmont street, Brockton 02301.
