Luther T. Madison, Medicine Man of the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah), died Thursday night at age 84. A sacred fire will be kept at the family home in Aquinnah.

A wake will be held on Sunday, March 15 from 2-5pm at the Old Town Hall in Aquinnah.

On Monday, March 16th, a procession will leave the Old Town Hall at 1pm, arriving at the town cemetery for a graveside service. A potluck reception will follow at the Aquinnah Wampanoag tribal offices.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Aquinnah Wampanoag Higher Education Scholarship Fund, 20 Black Brook Rd, Aquinnah, MA 02535.
