Sally McLean Kraetzer, wife of the late Joseph Gibbs Kraetzer of Chilmark, died peacefully at the age of 100 on April 5 at Long Hill in Edgartown.

She grew up in Lexington, was a 1928 alumna of the Lexington High School and graduated from Smith College in 1932. She was a nursery school teacher for many years. In retirement, she and Joe were avid golfers and were active in the West Tisbury Congregational Church.

She was predeceased by her husband in 1995, and also by her two children, Carol and David Roblin.

She is survived by her granddaughter Jennifer Roblin, and by her extended family: John Raymond of Mountain View, Calif., Sally Raymond Thibault of Alexandria, Va. and Edgartown, Ann Raymond Burt of West Tisbury, Susan Kraetzer Parkes of Chilmark and Tucson, Ariz., and their eight children.
