Clara Elwell Ball

Clara Elwell Ball, 98, of Hot Springs Village, Ariz., died Dec. 21. She was born Oct. 11, 1911 in Claremont, N.H., to the late Kenneth R. and Mina Bunker Elwell. She was a member of Village United Methodist Church and formerly served in Lioness Club, Animal Welfare League, Women’s Club and Christian Women’s Club. Clara lived for 32 years in Rockford, Ill.

Her husband, Kenneth, preceded Mrs. Ball in death. Survivors include two sons: Richard Ball (Kathryn) of St. Charles, Ill., and Ronald Ball (Cecilia) of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Caruth Village Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Guests may register atcaruth-hale.com.
