Daniel van Rooyen died on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010 at his home in West Tisbury. He was just shy of his 85th birthday on Jan. 25. Daniel was the husband of Susanna van Rooyen, who predeceased him in 1993. He was the father of Carl van Rooyen. A graveside service in Lambert’s Cove cemetery will be held in the springtime.
