Charles (Chuck) Youngs of Orlando, Fla., and Oak Bluffs, died on March 3 at his home in Orlando. He was 79 years old. He was born in Providence, R.I., the son of Charles and Ruth Youngs.
Chuck leaves behind the love of his life, Anne Sharon (Whitehead) Youngs, his wife of 43 years. He is also survived by his sister, Carolyn Cerio and her husband, Edward, and brother, Richard of Warwick, R.I.; two sons, Charles and his wife, Carol, of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Fred of Methuen; daughter, Denise Youngs of Cincinnati, Ohio; and five grandchildren. Chuck leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including Bertha and Danny Blake of Oak Bluffs.
Chuck served his country in the Navy and was later employed by the New England Telephone Company for 35 years. He was a man of honor and great integrity. His kindness overflowed on all who were lucky enough to be called his friend. He was a culinary expert, and his famous platters were enjoyed by his many friends in the Camp Ground in Oak Bluffs and also in his Orlando home. His great sense of humor and witticisms kept everyone smiling and laughing when they were with him.
