Geraldine (Gerry) Glimcher Lee, 84, of Westwood and Menemsha, died on Sunday, March 21, at Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by her family.

Gerry was a longtime resident of the Vineyard, where she spent many happy summers. She had many close friends on the Vineyard and loved to garden, play bridge, swim and take walks on the beach. The Vineyard was most important to her as a place where her children and grandchildren could spend time together as a family.

She is survived by her daughter Susan and husband, Alexander Nehamas, of Princeton, N.J.; her daughter Laurie and husband, Gregory Petsko, of Newton; her daughter Nancy and husband, Brian Kushman, of Coral Gables, Fla.; and her former son in law Hugh Auchincloss of Washington D.C. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Kalah Auchincloss and husband, Dan Barnes; Hugh G. and Jacob D. Auchincloss; Nicholas Nehamas; and Alexandra and Arielle Kushman; and by her former husband of 50 years and devoted friend, Melvin J. Glimcher.
