Robert W. Vincent 70, of Schenectady, N.Y., died suddenly Wednesday, June 23 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.

Born in Oak Bluffs, the son of the late Burton M. and Natalie A. Brown Vincent, Bob graduated from Mount Pleasant High School and the School of Practical Art in Boston. He worked in North Quincy for 25 years for Lowell Press and S. Gunnar Myrbeck Printing Company.

Bob volunteered at WMHT for the past 20 years. He enjoyed much of his time at his second home in Chilmark.

Survived by his brother, William E.B. Vincent of Niskayuna, N.Y., and his niece, Katie E, Vincent of Niskayuna, N.Y. Predeceased by his sister in law, Priscilla Keiper Vincent.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Robert’s life on Monday at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Schenectady. A calling hour will be held on Sunday from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home, 1503 Union street (at McClellan street) in Schenectady.

Burial will be at noon on Wednesday in Abel’s Hill Cemetery in Chilmark.
