Meredith Jane Aldrich

Lifelong educator Dr. Meredith Jane Aldrich died at her home in West Tisbury surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, August 23. In her immediate family, she is survived by her husband, T. Dunbar Moodie; her daughter, Mary Jane Aldrich-Moodie of Oak Bluffs; her sons, James Aldrich-Moodie of Rochester, N.Y. and Benjamin Moodie of Lewiston, Me.; and her three daughters in love — Christine Seidel, Sarah Jones and Caroline Shaw, respectively.

A full obituary will follow at a later date and a memorial service will be held in December on Martha’s Vineyard. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Island Hospice and Palliative Care.
