Jennifer Rollins Larson, 42, of Zion, Ill., and Oak Bluffs, died suddenly on Oct. 18.

She was the beloved wife of Erik Larson and the mother of Julianna and Meghan.

She spent much of her early life on the Vineyard with her parents John H. Rollins and the late Julia Hurley Rollins. She attended the Oak Bluffs School and graduated from McMurray College in Springfield, Ill. For many years she was an elementary classroom teacher and later taught special needs students.

In addition to her husband, her daughters, and her father, she is survived by her brother Peter Rollins of Lincolnville, Maine, her aunts Patricia Hurley Alley of Oak Bluffs and MaryClaire Hagan of St. Petersburg, Fla., her uncles Peter Hurley of Wheaton, Ill., and Paul Rollins of Fontana, Wisc., as well as by many cousins on both sides of her family.

Services were held in Zion on Oct. 22. Donations in her memory may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center in Boston or to the Barton Center for Diabetic Education, 30 Ennis Rd, Box 356, North Oxford, MA 01537.

Jennifer will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
