Bill Freeman, a longtime Oak Bluffs seasonal resident and host and friend to many, many Vineyarders, died unexpectedly after a brief illness on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York city.

Plans for a service are pending at Riverside Church of New York city for next week.
