Carl E. Hermenau of Vineyard Haven died at his home on Friday, Jan. 14. He was 85. He is survived by a brother, William James Hermenau of Taunton, and sister, Marie H. Hadfield of Westport. There will be a memorial service later in the spring at Oak Grove cemetery in Vineyard Haven.
