David L. Lufkin, 61, died peacefully on March 16, in Williamstown, after a brief illness.

David served six years in the United States Air Force.

He was a very talented musician, residential painter and carpenter.

David was predeceased by his parents, Thada B. Lufkin and Wilfred Lufkin Jr., and sister, Amy Lufkin Winsor.

Survivors include Deborah Lufkin of Torrington, Conn., Sue Lufkin Solomson, of Manchester, Conn., and Lucy Lufkin Stoltze of E. Hartford, Conn., eight nieces and nephews and four great-nieces and nephews.

A military memorial service will be held at New West Side Cemetery in Edgartown on May 14 at 2 p.m.
